Werribee Mercy fair turns up the volume

Save the date – there’s only a month to go until Werribee Mercy Hospital’s Christmas Fair on November 26 at Victoria University’s Werribee campus.

Festival goers can expect gift stalls, children’s activities, an animal farm, food trucks and even a visit from Santa.

Meanwhile, Amelie (pictured, left), Evie, Lenny, Eva and Lucia from High Voltage Rock School will be doing several performances on the day.

Mercy Health chief executive of health services, Linda Mellors, said all money raised would go towards supporting the hospital’s $87 million expansion.

The state government has pledged $85 million towards the upgrade, which will include eight critical care beds, 56 inpatient beds and six operating theatres.

Werribee Hospital Foundation is working with Mercy Health to raise an additional $2 million for the expansion.
