Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal two-car collision in Werribee on Saturday morning.
The collision occurred on Geelong Road near Watton Street about 7.35am.
Police have been told a car travelling west on Geelong Road and a silver Daewoo sedan travelling east collided when the silver Daewoo appeared to lose control.
The driver of the Daewoo, a 31-year-old Werribee man, was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
The driver of the other car, a 37-year-old man from Tarneit, received minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Westgate Highway Patrol is investigating and appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam footage of the silver Daewoo sedan, in the area at the time or just prior to the collision, to contact police.
