The Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing is looking for exhibitors for its wedding expo.

The expo will be held at the Encore Events Centre from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, April 29.

Club president Sharon Crulci said people wanting to attend the expo only had to pay a gold coin donation on the day – and that meant plenty of attendees every year.

“It’s a fundraiser for our club and the idea is we put that money back into the community,” she said.

Last year, 35 exhibitors took part, including businesses from the west, Geelong and greater Melbourne.

“All the exhibitors from last year all said they had a wonderful time and made lots of great contacts,” Ms Crulci said.

Point Cook-based And The Veil Bridal has been an exhibitor at the wedding expo for the past four years.

Owners Rebbeca Sykes and Bronwyn Whyley said the Rotary volunteers who organised the annual expo did “a great job”.

“We love to support Rotary because they are local and we are local, too,” Ms Whyley said.

Exhibitors have until March 31 to register for the expo; fees apply. Contact weddingexpo@hopperscrossingrotary.org.au for details.
