The One Billion Stars initiative aims to encourage conversations about how to end violence against women, bullying and racism, while simultaneously using arts and crafts as a method of healing.

The woven stars represent light, courage and solidarity, and Star Weekly photographer Joe Mastroianni visited Point Cook Library’s star weaving session on Friday, December 2.
