V-Line delays following incident in Tarneit

V-Line services between Melbourne and Geelong are experiencing major delays following an incident involving a pedestrian in Tarneit this morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene in Tarneit about 9.15am on Thursday, where they treated a woman believed to be in her 30s with an upper-body injury.

The woman was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and in a stable condition.

Following the incident Tarneit station was closed for a police operation but has since re-opened with services delayed by up to 40 minutes.
