Truganina machete attack

Police have arrested four youths following an assault in Truganina on Monday, May 26.

It is alleged the group of up to five people were involved in the confrontation, which Star Weekly believes took place in the toilet of McDonalds on Dohertys Road about 4pm.

During the incident a machete is alleged to have been produced.

The two victims, both 15-year-olds from the Wyndham area, were not injured.

Two boys aged 15 years old and from the Wyndham area were arrested on Wednesday, May 28.

One of the boys has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, false imprisonment, producing child abuse material, assault with a weapon and possessing a controlled weapon.

He was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date

A second boy is expected to be charged on summons.

A further two boys aged 15 years old and from the Wyndham area were arrested on Thursday, May 29 and were issued cautions.
