Truganina fire deemed suspicious

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a house in Truganina this morning.

Fire Rescue Victoria and CFA crews attended the Kalimna Way house around 8.05am after members of the public made several calls to triple-0.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find flames coming through the roof of the single storey, brick veneer house.

They conducted a search of the house and found no-one was inside.

The fire was declared under control 8.42am, after 36 firefighters attended the site.

The cause of the fire has been deemed suspicious and police are now on the scene.
