Truganina Fire Brigade good to go for Good Friday

It’s time to give so they may grow.

Truganina Fire Brigade will be tin rattling and door knocking later this month to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The brigade has raised more than $135,000 since it started collecting in 2004.

Truganina captain Colleen Goodfellow said volunteers would be tin rattling at Tarneit Central Shopping Centre on Thursday, March 29 before taking to the streets on Good Friday with the fire trucks to door knock homes and tin rattle at major road intersections.

Appeal organiser Leigh Tomlinson added: “I really enjoy helping out such a wonderful cause”.

The brigade is looking for more volunteers to help out on the day.
