Truganina arrest over armed robbery

A man has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery in Truganina on the weekend.

Police apprehended the 20-year-old man at a property in Hoffman Crescent, Truganina at about 12.30pm on Tuesday, February 6.

He is currently assisting police with their inquiries into an armed robbery on Leakes Road, Truganina early on Sunday.

The incident is alleged to have begun when a woman was approached by a man armed with a firearm at about 12.50am on February 4.

The man then allegedly assaulted another man before stealing his phone and fleeing the scene.
