The Wyndham Health Foundation (WHF) will hold a trivia night fundraiser on Friday, February 24 at the Plaza Tavern, Hoppers Crossing to raise funds to support public health and hospital services in Wyndham.

WHF chief executive Leanne Down said the event will be a night of fun, laughs, and knowledge testing.

“We invite the community to join in and combine some friendly competition with helping raise funds for a great cause with their family, work colleagues or group of friends,” she said.

“These funds are issued as grants to public health & hospital services in Wyndham ensuring that our region has the best health care services possible to support patient care.”

Ms Down said Wyndham’s population is growing at an increasingly rapid rate, and our public health services need support to keep pace.

“Health is important to all of us; it’s a gift often taken for granted, and so are public health services,” she said.

“From research to refurbishments, new equipment and new technologies, the Wyndham Health Foundation has a proud history of providing extra support to advance the care and services for our community.

“We are incredibly proud of our achievements to date, but more so, we are proud of the volunteers, community members and local business owners that have generously donated their time, money, and resources to ensure we achieve our mission.”

Residents who are unable to attend on the night are encouraged to reach out to see how they can support the Wyndham Health Foundation.
