Trio arrested after aggravated burglaries

UPDATED: Three people have been arrested in relation to a series of aggravated burglaries in Hoppers Crossing and Manor Lakes earlier this week.

A 23-year-old Ballarat man has been charged with 22 charges including aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, theft from motor vehicle, obtain property by deception, theft of motor vehicle, theft, criminal damage by fire (arson) and reckless conduct endangering life.

An 18-year-old Linton man has been charged with seven charges including theft of motor vehicle, theft, reckless conduct endangering life, drive in manner dangerous, drive at speed dangerous and unlicensed driving.

An 18-year-old Sebastopol woman has been charged with three offences including theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods and theft.

The three were remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court yesterday,
