Manor Lakes woman Debasree Das Mall, who runs a fashion and travel blog, has travelled to 42 countries.
Debasree said she became an “accidental blogger” around four years ago after moving from Singapore to Australia, when her daughter was two-years-old.
As the former Mrs Singapore India 2014 and Former Mrs Asia International 2015, Debasree said she started the blog because she loved travelling and style.
She said that working full-time as a business head for the Asia Pacific, at a multinational company headquartered in Hong Kong, had given her plenty of opportunities to travel before the COVID-19 pandemic.
“My job allows me to travel the length and breadth of the globe and I just wanted to share these travel stories to the world at large,” Debasree said.
“Have lived in Africa, Moscow and Singapore, I have some amazing and fond memories of these places that I still keep sharing through my blogs.”
Debasree also models part-time and is a monthly content contributor to’ G’day India’ magazine.
“The best thing about blogging is working with local businesses and giving them a platform to showcase their brand,” she said.
Debasree said that although the pandemic has halted her ability to travel overseas, the fashion segment of her blog “is doing really amazing”.
“I had an amazing few months working with both international and Australian brands,” she said.
