Miniature Darth Vaders, Chewbaccas and Sith Lords turned out in force at the Kids World Early Learning Centre in Werribee on Friday.
The early learning centre hosted a special event for May the Fourth, which is known across the globe as Star Wars Day due to the quote from the movies, “May the Force be with you.”
Youngsters at Kids World enjoyed craft activities where they made Yoda ears and spaceships.
Centre owner-operator Kieran Armstrong said the centre’s staff put up decorations related to Star Wars and the Earth’s solar system.
“The children have had a great time asking about Star Wars which has sparked their interest to learn about the planets and solar system,” Mr Armstrong said.
One of the centre’s charges, Hamza, also celebrated his fifth birthday with a cake. Mr Armstrong said the centre presented Hamza with a Darth Vader costume for his birthday.
