The Annex, located adjacent to the Wyndham Cultural Centre, will host a wide range of new and creative events over the coming months.
In October, the community will be able to participate in three performative activities:
Words In The West, a night of live
spoken word, visual performance and poetry will be held from 7pm to 9pm on October 19,
November 23 and December 14.
BeatFactor, an interactive drum workshop run by Rod Pilois and featuring latin-jazz performances, will be held from 1pm to 2pm on October 28 and November 11.
I Will Figure it Out Later, an art exhibition that pokes fun at art
while celebrating the creative process opens on Wednesday October 25 and runs daily from 1am to 3pm through to Sunday November 5.
Wyndham councillor Marcel Mahfoud said the local arts community was embracing The Annex as a creative space and encouraged residents to do the same.
“Come along and experience the creativity of local artists present new and
experimental works this Spring and be part of something unique.”
