A teenage girl was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car in Truganina on Friday.
Paramedics were called to the intersection of Sayers and Forsyth roads about 8.20pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the girl was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are speaking with the driver of the car, and the investigation remains ongoing.
