Tea time for charity

It’s fundraising down to a T.

Head along to the Point Cook Community Learning Centre for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday, May 23 from 11am to 1pm.

The event will be held to raise funds for Cancer Council Australia.

Point Cook resident Phebe Yeo, who runs a multicultural education business called 8Senses, is organising the event with support from Wyndham council and the centre.

Ms Yeo said the morning tea would feature a Chinese art and calligraphy demonstration, a dance performance by local residents and displays of cultural tea sets.

The Point Cook Community Learning Centre is located at 1-21 Cheetham Street, Point Cook.

Entry to the morning tea: $5 donation. Contact info@8senses.com.au for details.
