A 32-year-old Tarneit man will have his day in court after police caught him speeding along Derrimut Road in the early hours of this morning.
Police nabbed the man doing 85km/h in a 60km/h zone in Tarneit about 4.45am. When he was pulled over, the man recorded a blood-alcohol reading of .145 and was found to be under a court-imposed driving disqualification.
He will front the Werribee Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
Earlier in the night, police also suspended the licence of a 24-year-old Hoppers Crossing P-plater after he returned a blood-alcohol reading of .095.
