Tarneit land sales earn $3.4 million

The latest land lots to be released as part of a new residential community in Tarneit sold out at the weekend, reaping around $3.4 million in total sales.

The 10 land parcels at Stockland Grand Central, which were sized between 350 to 512 square metres, were sold online due to the lockdown.

However, this did not stop prospective buyers, with all of the sites snapped up by 5pm on Saturday.

Prices for the lots started at $312,000.

Stockland Grand Central, located near Sayers and Sewells roads, is 38-hectare residential site.

In the future, Stockland is planning to add a further 493 lots to the existing 362 sites already sold.

The estate, next to Davis Creek, includes 3.48 hectares of future open space including two parks, a planned sports reserve, a leisure site with playgrounds, picnic seating, basketball/netball court space and cricket pitch.

Stockland project director, Ed Krushka, the western growth corridor accounted for more than one-third of Melbourne’s overall land sales.
