As the state continues to open up after coming out of lockdown, people are looking forward to catching up with loved ones over a bite to eat.
During this time, Wyndham council has asked residents to support the 22,000 local businesses which are recovering from the impacts of the COVID pandemic.
Wyndham’s future focused economy portfolio holder, Cr Mia Shaw, said that for every $100 spent at local small businesses, $67 stayed within Wyndham.
“To ensure you keep up with what is open and which services you can use, visit the Wyndham Open Business Directory (www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/wyndhamopen), which features a listing of businesses currently operating in a range of categories, from professional services to cafes and retail,” Cr Shaw said.
With eased restrictions, the famous High Tea at Joseph’s Restaurant will once again be available at the Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park every Sunday from November 14 onwards, between 12.30pm to 3pm.
A Devonshire Tea including scones, jam, clotted cream and an assortment of cakes is also available from the café daily, which can be taken home or enjoyed throughout the grounds.
