A Wyndham syndicate of 10 has struck it rich after sharing in Tattslotto’s division one $20 million Superdraw on September 2.

The group syndicate was sold from Hudson’s Lotto and Dry Cleaning in Watton Street, Werribee.

Owner Peter Grey said it was his first time selling a division one-winning entry in two and a half years.

“I’m over the moon! This is great for the customers and our store,” he said.

“All the winners are regulars, which is great. They came and told us on the Monday after they won, they were very excited.”

The group syndicate also won other divisional prizes with its 50-game System 7 QuickPick entry, making the total prize value $1,673,982.87 or $167,409.53 per share. For the Werribee locals, their winnings will go towards things such as paying off home loans and a wedding.

“We’ve been telling all of our customers we’ve sold a division one-winning group syndicate entry and are happy that the win has gone to regular and local customers,” Mr Grey said.

To help celebrate selling the first division one entry, Hudson’s Lotto is running a Superdraw promotion for a lucky customer who buys either any Superdraw syndicate or a 36 or 50-game QuickPick.

“Recently we’ve sold five second division wins in six weeks. In the next Superdraw, customers will have the chance to win 2 x system 7s for a year, total value over $500,” Mr Grey said.
