A former Wyndham Business of the Year has continued to go from strength to strength, recently unveiling a $3 million expansion of its Laverton North premises.
ebm-papst Australia and New Zealand, which makes and engineers fan solutions for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning industry, has expanded its production area by 40 per cent, improved its research and development facilities and created a dedicated area to conduct quality analysis.
An ebm-papst spokeswoman said the expansion would help strengthen the business by providing more services.
“The dedicated warranty area will allow us to support our customers’ concerns and claims by being able to locally analyse, repair and rework products.
The extension of the R&D facilities will continue to support locally designed and manufactured products for new and existing markets through customised product solutions.
“We are hoping that this will help us to achieve our goal of an increase in revenue of at least 70 per cent within the next five years.”
The business was named 2015 Wyndham Business of the Year and in 2016 was inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
The company employs 41 people across Australia and New Zealand.
