Shots fired into Tarneit house

Police are investigating after a number of shots were fired into a house in Tarneit this morning.

Investigators have been told the shots were fired into the Caraleena Drive residence at 12.17am.

The rounds were fired into the front of the house, with some of them penetrating a bedroom and a kitchen.

Luckily, neither of the house’s two occupants was injured during the incident.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Caraleena Drive just after midnight, and who saw anything suspicious, to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
