Shop for your school launches at Pacific Werribee

Pacific Werribee has launched its ‘Shop for your School’ campaign, giving local primary schools the chance to share in $30,000 worth of cash prizes.

Designed to support the local fresh food retailers at Pacific Werribee, the campaign invites customers to shop at participating retailers for the chance to nominate one of 12 local primary schools who could share in the cash.

The three schools with the most receipts will win $15,000 for first prize, $10,000 second prize and $5000 for third.

Pacific Werribee general manager, Ryan Ling, said he’s “thrilled” to be launching a campaign that not only encourages customers to visit the centre’s fresh food retailers, but also provides a welcomed financial boost for primary schools in the local area.

“We are always exploring opportunities to add genuine value to the community and the launch of ‘Shop for your School’ is one way we can give back to our local schools,” Mr Ling said.

“In addition to the financial prizes, we are also providing 7,500 students with water bottles, crayons, and tote bags, plus a fridge magnet to remind parents to save their receipts and nominate their local school.”

Customers can visit the ‘Shop for you School’ display in centre where they can snap a photo of their receipt and upload it to the competition portal on the Pacific Werribee website to enter.

Shoppers who participate also go in the draw to win an array of weekly prizes including free groceries for a month, gift cards and gym memberships.
