Little River schoolyard goes green

Little River Primary School was given a facelift last week with a helping hand from some green thumbs.

Staff from Bunnings Warehouse in Werribee popped out to the school on Wednesday to spruce up the gardens with fruit trees, vegetables and planter boxes.

The Bunnings team also built a ‘buddy bench’, where students who are feeling lonely can sit to remind others they would like a friend’s company.

The Bunnings team also went to Riverdene kindergarten in Werribee to plant a vegetable garden and to Little River kindergarten to replace vegetables and fruit trees.
