School sent into lockdown over stolen car

A Manor Lakes school was temporarily put into lockdown following a stolen car incident on Tuesday, July 22.

Police responded to reports of a stolen car driving erratically in the western suburbs.

It is believed the Porsche was sighted near Fraser Rise about 10.50am.

The vehicle was followed to Manor Lakes before it was dumped on Minindee Road and the five occupants fled into a nearby school.

The school was placed into lockdown as a precaution but has since been cleared.

Three people have since been located and taken into custody and police are continuing to search for the two other occupants of the car.
