A Werribee salon is collecting sanitary items to help women in need.
Brazilian Butterfly is calling on customers and passers-by to donate pads and tampons for Share the Dignity, a charity that helps homeless women and women fleeing domestic violence.
Owner Vanessa Richard said the salon’s efforts were going well.
“I think it’s great if we can help those in need,” Ms Richard said.
“So far, it’s gone fantastic. We’ve already filled one box.”
Share the Dignity runs in April and August every year.
