Tarneit MP Sarah Connolly has announced $300,000 to fund a series of new projects in the area. Ms Connolly, who is also chair of the Tarneit Revitalisation Board, said $160,000 will be spent to trial markets to showcasing local food, products and performance. In addition, $70,000 will go towards establishing a series of weekly fitness, recreation and sport programs, more than $38,000 to a hold a youth soccer cup and a further $24,000 will be invested to upgrade the Julia Gillard library garden.
