Retailers at home at the manor

More than a dozen retailers, from beauty salons to fast food, are now confirmed to move into the super-sized Manor Lakes Central.

The finishing touches are being made to the main structure of the $60 million expansion of Manor Lakes Central which will deliver about 20 new retailers in all.

Food Ease Indian Grocer, Phone Tech, The Tax Store, Kesari Indian Restaurant, Lux Barber and Pizza Kings are among a number of stores listed as the newest tenants in the mall.

Ranfurlie Asset Management chief executive Mark Wilson said works on the centre were moving quickly and it was taking shape.

“The main mall structure is now complete, with the glass skylights well underway and nearing completion,” Mr Wilson said.

“The existing centre upgrade is also progressing well with the tiling of the mall and the external upgrade works commencing, ensuring that the two areas seamlessly come together for the opening in May.”

The artwork for three murals which will appear throughout the centre walls were designed by Manor Lakes P-12 College students and will appear on the climbing wall of the playground and in the parents’ room.

The project will be anchored by a new-concept Kmart and will also include Best & Less, Anytime Fitness and a large-scale fruit and vegetable grocer.

Another 500 car parking spaces, upgraded parent rooms, children’s interactive play areas and free Wi-Fi will also be installed.
