The state government has appointed a permanent board to lead the revived State Electricity Commission (SEC).
State Electricity Commission Minister Lily D’Ambrosio announced Simon Corbell as chair of the new board, along with four board directors that have experience in finance, asset management, energy and investment.
The board consists of Simon, Joycelyn Morton, Anna Skarbek, Jo Benvenuti and Damien Barnes.
The state government said the SEC board will play a significant role in supporting Victoria to achieve its nation-leading renewable energy target of 95 per cent by 2035.
Work is underway to fill two additional board positions.
