Several thousand residents and businesses around Wyndham are currently without power.
According to Powercor, the outages have affected 2359 customers in Tarneit, 502 in Hoppers Crossing, 13, three in Wyndham Vale and one in Mambourin.
Powercore said power is expected to be restored by 7pm.
