Police investigate sexual assault on Werribee bus

Do you know this person?
Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Werribee earlier this month.
Investigators have been told the victim and the unknown teenage offender separately boarded a bus near Werribee train station on Friday 2 December at 5.37pm.
During the trip, the victim got up to stand near the rear door of the bus when the teenager followed her and sexually assaulted her.
The victim then got off the bus at Walls Road, Werribee and returned home.
It is believed the offender also got off the bus at the same location.
Investigators have released these images captured on CCTV in the hope that someone may recognise the teenage boy and assist with their enquiries.
He is described as being aged 16-17-years-old, with a thin to medium build and a dark complexion.
At the time of the incident he was wearing all black clothing.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
