Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Point Cook this morning.
The victims woke to the sound of their two cars, a BMW coupe and a Mercedes Sedan being started in the downstairs garage of their Pasadena Circuit house about 3am. Both cars were stolen.
Investigators believe the offenders gained entry to the home through an unlocked garage door. A handbag and laptop were also stolen.
Police are searching for a blue 2014 BMW 435i couple, registration VVAMPS, and a white 2016 Mercedes SLK200 Roadster, registration AID255.
Another vehicle, previously reported as stolen was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.
Police followed the vehicle along the Monash Freeway before losing sight of it around Warrigal Road.
