Police have arrested a teenager in relation to an aggravated burglary which occurred in Tarneit on August 17.
Four youths allegedly ransacked a Habitat Court home, produced a machete and assaulted a woman, before stealing her car durning the incident.
About 8am today police executed a search warrant at a Point Cook house where they arrested an 18-year-old man and seized several electronic devices.
Police said they believed the man was also involved in a number of other incidents earlier this month, including two separate robberies in Maple Crescent, Hoppers Crossing, on September 2 and September 17 and an armed robbery in Camara Street, St Albans on September 13, during which a knife was allegedly produced.
The man is currently assisting investigators with their inquiries.
Earlier this month, police arrested and charged a 17-year-old Tarneit boy in relation to the aggravated burglary in Tarneit. The matter is currently before the Children’s Court.
