Christmas spirit is in the air at the Point Cook town centre.
Stockland Point Cook centre manager Frank Pizi said that he was excited by the range of activities on offer to help customers celebrate the festive season.
“Christmas is a magical time of year, where people come together to connect, give gifts, and socialise,” he said.
“This year, we have a range of workshops and innovative digital experiences so that everyone in our community can come together to safely enjoy a special Christmas.
Craft workshops are being held each Saturday morning, along with Christmas storytimes in the Picnic Park each Tuesday morning and cookie decorating workshops courtesy of Ferguson Plarre each Thursday morning.
Santa photos will take place in the town centre’s Winter Wonderland until Friday, December 24 from 10am daily.
For the safety of Santa, centre staff and customers, pre-bookings are essential and social distancing rules will be observed.
Gift wrapping will be also available between December 18 and 24, with all proceeds going to the Point Cook View Club.
As well, Stockland Point Cook has partnered with St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee to support a Giving Tree.
Customers will be donate gifts for patients staying at the hospital on Christmas, until December 24, and place them under the tree.
In addition, Mr Pizi said that customers could scan QR codes in-store to help Santa find hidden presents in an augmented digital reality scene, which will automatically add them into a draw to win a Stockland gift card valued at between $500 and $1000.
