Police have charged a 16-year-old Point Cook boy and 15-year-old Melton South boy following a stabbing at Cobblebank train station.
Officers were called to the railway station about 1.15pm yesterday.
An 18-year-old Cobblebank man was located and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the Point Cook and Melton South boys shortly afterwards.
The Point Cook teen has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury, intentionally cause serious injury, assault with a weapon, commit indictable offence while on bail and other offences.
He has been remanded to appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.
The Melton boy has been released pending further inquires.
