A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a car in Truganina early Wednesday morning.
It is believed the woman was crossing Leakes Road when she was hit by a white sedan about 4.35am.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the female driver of the sedan stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Investigators believe a number of cars drove past the scene at the time. The incident caused significant traffic disruption during the morning peak.
