Christmas is a time for giving, and The Park Hotel in Werribee did it in spades last week.
The business joined forces with the Smith Family to put on a special lunch for 50 families of grade 6 Manor Lakes College pupils.
The families receive education scholarships from the Smith Family.
Young ones made the most of a petting zoo, photo booth and arts and crafts, while Santa also paid a visit, handing out gifts that had been donated by local businesses.
The lunch was the brainchild of Park Hotel owner Connie Christou.
Mrs Christou thanked the staff and suppliers for donating their time and resources for the lunch, and the businesses who chipped in with presents.
“The kids had a ball, and that’s what it was all about,” Mrs Christou said.
