Police are seeking public assistance to identify two men after a car theft in Tarneit which occurred Wednesday, October 7.
At approximately 8pm, two men gained access to a vehicle parked in a Crissa Street driveway.
The pair attempted to drive off in the car, and a witness tried to stop them. The witness jumped onto the car’s bonnet before the pair sped off, flinging her into a parked car.
The car was later found dumped a few streets away.
Police have released images of two men whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.
The first man is perceived to be African in appearance, aged in his early 20s, and with short blonde dreadlocks. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black shirt and chains around his neck.
The second man is perceived to be African in appearance, aged in his early 20s, and with short dark hair. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a puffer jacket and long pants.
