Nominations flow for AquaPulse

AquaPulse is onto a winner.

The indoor leisure centre and its staff are finalists in eight award categories for the Aquatics and Recreation Victoria awards, which will be held next week.

Peter Leckie, who has been nominated for the pool lifeguard award, has been with AquaPulse since it opened nearly two years ago after a facelift of the former Wyndham Leisure and Events Centre.

Remi Gordon, 23, has also been with AquaPulse from the beginning and was nominated for the duty manager award.

Other award nominations include Susan Clark for the membership sales award, Lachlan McDowell for the most valuable employee award, Tracey Sutherland for the group exercise instructor award and Josh Doyle for the customer service award.

The centre is also in the running for the facility management award and the ‘watch around water’: facility of the year.
