A new Domino’s store which has opened in Tarneit will create 20 jobs.

Local franchisee Milind Patel said he was thrilled to open his second store in Tarneit this week.

“Not only is the opening of this store a great opportunity to reach more customers and provide safe, hot meals, but I’m also proud that this new venture will create 20 new jobs for locals in the Tarneit area,” he said.

“I encourage those who may have recently lost their job due to COVID-19 to apply.

“We would love for you to join our team as a delivery expert or in-store team member helping to make, bake and take piping hot pizzas using Domino’s Zero Contact Pick Up or Delivery method.”

Mr Patel first joined Domino’s in 2011 and worked his way up the ladder from delivering pizza to become an assistant manager, then manager.

Last year, he decided to open a Domino’s store in Hoppers Crossing.

Now opening his second store in Tarneit, Mr Patel said the store would also be offering free meals to health care workers.

“The Tarneit community has already been so welcoming, and I can’t wait to return that support,” he said.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all Victorian health care workers who have been working tirelessly around the clock to keep our community safe throughout the pandemic.

“If you are a doctor, nurse, paramedic or health care professional, I encourage you to please reach out and drop into Domino’s Tarneit for a free, hot meal on me.

“I know the offer of a pizza won’t change the current situation, but it is my way of letting Victorian frontline workers know they aren’t alone.

“During this difficult time, I hope this offer gives our dedicated frontline workers one less thing to worry about by providing a safe, promptly prepared hot meal.”
