New learning spaces

Students at Wyndham Central College and Manor Lakes P-12 College will soon get state-of-the-art,double-storey relocatable classrooms to meet growing student enrolments, thanks to the state government.

Werribee MP Tim Pallas has announced that the two schools would receive a double-storey relocatable building each, to offer flexibility to manage enrolment growth for the 2022 school year.

The relocatable buildings have with double-glazed windows, improved thermal insulation to reduce heat loss, acoustic insulation to reduce internal noise reverberation, and are built to an energy-efficient design.

“We are delivering a modern, two-storey relocatable building for Wyndham Central College and Manor Lakes P-12 College because we know that quality infrastructure gives our students and teachers the learning environments they need to achieve their best,” Mr Pallas said.

The state government allocated $114 million through the Victorian budget 2021-22 to the Relocatable Buildings Program.
