Two companies have signed up to lease new buildings to be constructed at the West Park Industrial Estate in Truganina.
Frasers Property Australia has announced it will build a 37,177-square-metres warehouse at the estate for Ceva Logistics. The logistics and freight management business has committed to a 10-year lease at the site.
National Tiles has signed a six-year lease on a 14,871-square-metre building.
National Tiles is set to move into its new building in November, with Ceva Logistics scheduled to arrive on-site in December.
The park has attracted other tenants, including Austrans, Toll Logistics, Maxi Parts Australia Post, Chep, Fastline Logistics, Mitre 10, Queensland Cotton, Goodyear and Dunlop Tyres, Catch of the Day, Kuehne + Nagel, DB Schenker and PFG Australia.
The estate, comprising 320 hectares of industrial land, runs adjacent to Boundary Road and is owned by Frasers Property.
Frasers Property southern region general manager Anthony Maugeri said the industrial park’s location was attractive due to its accessibility to Melbourne’s CBD, ports and major roads.
“Melbourne’s … west continues to attract high-quality tenants looking to benefit from the efficiencies and technologies that we offer in new state-of-the-art logistics centres,” he said.
