Wyndham residents can expect service outages as NBN upgrades continue across the area in the coming weeks.
Upgrades to the NBN tower in Werribee South may result in some homes and small businesses in the area experiencing an impact to their service.
The planned outages, which will occur as part of work to extend NBN’s Fixed Wireless network’s coverage, may see the towers go offline temporarily.
NBN says it will take measures to minimise service disruptions, such as migrating users over to temporary connections.
NBN also says the tower works will not impact NBN fixed line or NBN Sky Muster satellite services and that Impacted homes and businesses may have been notified of these planned outages through their service providers.
NBN local Victoria head Emily Peel said after the tower works are completed they were expecting faster download speeds during the busy period will become available across the nbn Fixed Wireless network.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience while the work is underway.”
