Dozens of young musicians showed off their talents at the Thomas Carr College Moments concert.
Senior music students took to the stage for the annual showcase which featured songs by soul greats Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.
Head of music Mat Morse said the concert gave students the opportunity to fine-tune their skills.
“The Moments concert provided the students with the experience of performance and is a way for us to showcase the extensive music program that we run here at Thomas Carr College,” Mr Morse said.
“There were around 70 students who participated in the choir and band, along with a number of music staff and a special guest vocalist Raleigh Williams.
“We also had non music students participate in other ways – some ushered guests to their seats and two students acted as the official photographer and videographer for the night as part of their VET studies.
“We hope that these kinds of concerts help to build on their experience as a performer, contributes to musicianship and build students’ confidence.”
