It’s the car show that puts the fun in fundraising.
There will be something for everyone at the fourth annual Hoppers Crossing Sports Club and E.J. Whitten Foundation Car Show on Sunday, April 8 from 7.30am to 1pm at the Hoppers Crossing Football Club home ground, 80 Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing.
John Culhane from the Hoppers Crossing Sports Club said car buffs will be spoilt for choice with about 130 cars and bikes on display, including muscle cars, antiques, luxury cars and other models.
There will also be a live band, barbecue, market stalls, a car boot sale, and footy legend Doug Hawkins will officiate a fundraising auction, with a signed Geelong Football Club guernsey and Richmond Football Club premiership jumper among the items to go under the hammer. Ted Whitten Jnr will be a special guest on the day.
Proceeds raised on the day will be split between the Hoppers Crossing Sports Club and E.J. Whitten Foundation for research into men’s health.
Entry to the car show is a gold coin donation. For more information, or to enter a car, call Mr Culhane on 0488 991 705 or email johnculhane29@gmail.com
