A Tarneit woman has died following a two car collision in Mount Cottrell on Tuesday morning.
The collision is believed to have occurred just after 9am on February 27 when a Holden Commodore and a Holden Cruz collided on Faulkners Road.
The driver of the Cruz, a 42-year-old Tarneit woman, was flown to hospital with life-threatening-injuries where she later died.
The driver of the Commodore, a 45-year-old Hoppers Crossing woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are currently investigating the collision with the exact circumstances still to be established.
