A woman and her three-year-old daughter were sprayed with water when they answered the front door of their Manor Lakes house on Sunday.
Wyndham police have appealed for public help to find three young offenders who hosed the woman and her daughter and then threw rocks at the windows of the Musk Place house, breaking several glass panes.
Werribee police are investigating reports of criminal damage at the property between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday.
The three youths were described as male and are believed to be about 15 years old.
One has blonde hair and was wearing a grey hooded-top and glasses. Another of the youths was wearing a red hooded-jacket.
Police said they believed the youths were in the area for some time before the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
