Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 12-year-old boy Jake.
Jake was last seen in Altona Meadows about 4.30am yesterday.
Police hold concerns for Jake due to his young age.
An image of Jake has been released in the hope that someone may recognise him and provide information on his current whereabouts.
Jake is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165 centimetres tall with a thin build, blonde hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing black jumper, blue tracksuit pants and black Nike runners.
Anyone who sees Jake, or who has information about his whereabouts, is urged to contact Footscray Police Station on 8398 9800.
