A lucky Werribee couple have won $1.45 million in the weekend’s Tattslotto draw.

There were four division one winning entries across the nation in TattsLotto’s draw 4169, which was held on Saturday.

One of the entries, a 24-game QuickPick, was purchased at the Werribee Authorised Newsagency on Station Street.

The woman who bought the ticket, who asked to remain anonymous, said she screamed upon finding out that she had won exactly $1,455,804.95.

In doing so, the woman accidentally woke up her husband, who came running down the stairs worried that something was wrong.

“We had been out for dinner and when we came home, I remembered I had bought a ticket into the draw,” the woman said.

“My husband had gone to bed and I was just sitting on the couch so I checked my numbers on The Lott app.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw I’d won division one.

“Honestly, seeing that money come up on the screen was just amazing.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her million-dollar win, the woman said she would share it with her family.

“The rest we will use to enjoy our retirement and to enjoy life,” she added.

Werribee Authorised Newsagency store manager Hayley Murphy said the entire team at the store was ecstatic for the woman.

“We were so excited to hear that one of our customers had become a millionaire and we helped make their dreams come true,” Ms Murphy said.

“We are going to party in style with balloons and streamers to celebrate this wonderful win.

“We are so happy for our winner and her family, especially in these current conditions.

“I think our customers will be very excited for us when they hear the news.

“We last sold a division one winning entry in 2018.

“We have sold about 56 division one winning entries here in the past.”

Another of the winning Tattslotto division one tickets on the weekend was sold at the Nextra Eastland Newsagency in Ringwood, one was purchased online by a Greensborough man and the fourth lucky ticket was sold in South Australia.
