Meeting social media demand

Loren Bartley doesn’t believe in random acts of social media.

The Point Cook resident has made a career out of being at the cutting edge of social media and online marketing, using that knowledge to help businesses develop social media strategies that will attract their ideal customers.

Ms Bartley, who started her career offering consultancy services to the sports sector, branched out by starting digital marketing agency Impactiv8 in 2011, responding to a growing demand for social media and online expertise.

Ms Bartley and a team of two employees service clients from all over the world from their office at Point Cook Town Centre, with their podcast, Business Addicts, making the Smart Company list of top 20 business podcasts for 2016.

She attends the annual Social Media Marketing World in San Diego to be at the forefront of new online and social media trends.

“We’re definitely in a growth industry, and demand for our services is high,” she said.

This year, Ms Bartley has nominated Impactiv8 in the professional services category in the Wyndham Business Awards, of which Star Weekly is the media partner.

Entries and nominations are being accepted until June 16, with award categories for home-based, logistics, manufacturing, new and emerging, personal services, professional services, retail, tourism and hospitality, trades and other services, excellence in innovation, excellence in sustainability, young entrepreneur of the year, business person of the year and business of the year.
